Hunt Brothers® Pizza Kicks off New Promotion with April Fools Prank

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 1, 2016) – “It might not be real fish pizza, but you sure will get a chance to win real fishing prizes,” said Keith Solsvig, vice president of marketing at Hunt Brothers® Pizza.

The announcement for the brand’s newest limited time offer pizza—ReelFish Pizza—was announced in jest to make a bigger splash around the legitimate launch of the Hunt Brothers Pizza sweepstakes, Hook, Line & Winner.

“We wanted to ‘test the waters’ and have a little fun with the announcement of our newest promotion. So with Hook, Line & Winner kicking off around April Fools’ Day, it only made sense to playfully announce it in conjunction with a witty LTO,” explained Solsvig. “Our fans are passionate about our LTOs and sweepstakes alike. But mark my words: the ReelFish Pizza won’t be in stores any time soon!”

While fans may not be able to get their hands on Hunt Brothers Pizza fish pizza, they will be able to enter to win top-of-the-line fishing gear starting Monday, April 4 through Hook, Like & Winner. For those really disappointed in missing out on a Hunk A ReelFish Pizza, they are encouraged to enter daily. With prizes this good up for grabs, ten lucky winners may be quickly on their way to creating a fish pizza of their very own.
